William (Bill) Wade Hawbolt - It is with grieving hearts and tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Hawbolt at Hospice Simcoe on Sunday, April 5, 2020 with his wife Cindy by his side. Bill was born June 11, 1960 in Barrie, ON to Martin and Agnes Hawbolt. He married the love of his life, Cindy Smith on May 16, 1981 and together raised their son Devan and daughter Renae. Bill attended EPBC and graduated with highest honours in 1994. Together with his wife and family pastored in Montreal, Saskatchewan and North Carolina. Bill was also an entrepreneur and owned his own business for many years, he also drove for a charter bus line. Predeceased by his mother Agnes Hawbolt, in-laws George and Erma Smith, sister-in-law Sara and brother-in-law Andrew. He will be greatly missed by his wife Cindy of 39 years, son Devan (Elizabeth) of Barrie, ON, daughter Renae and granddaughters Gabrielle and Lauren Akers of North Carolina, USA. He will also be missed by his father Martin and stepmom Joan Hawbolt. Siblings: Larry (Wendy), Kevin (Brenda), Sharon, Heather (Jim), Gregory (Cynthia), Darryl (Jennifer) brother/sisters-in-laws: Tony (Judy), Dorothy, Theresa, Paula (Peter) nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and a large circle of friends..... he will be lovingly missed by all and fondly remembered for his silliness❤️ Though we miss him immensely, we rejoice in Bill’s home going and look forward to joining him on that great reunion day. The family would like to express a special thanks to the amazing staff at Hospice Simcoe who took extraordinary care of Bill during the toughest days of his illness. Also to Dr. Kamra and to Dr. Kelly Emerson for her exemplary care and whose compassion is beyond words. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a celebration of Bill’s life will take place at a later date. Bill’s Family would like to express their love and gratitude to all who have prayed, believed and expressed their concern and love in the past 7 1/2 months.
