Obituary

Kraft, Kenneth Gerald -
On this day January 24th, 2021 we celebrate the life of Kenneth Gerald Krafft in his 79th year. Loving husband of Carol (Smafield), Father to his beloved son Christopher, daughter Sherry (Hubbert), (Rob), Grandfather to Jesse Hubbert, Katie Marshall, (Brody), Braydon (Courtney). Brother to Robert Krafft, predeceased by Merle Krafft (Dianna), Sister Nancy(Dave Gray), friend and companion to many.  Ken began his life in Toronto and grew up in Tillsonburg. Ken met and married Carol in Clinton in 1964. As a member of the Royal Canadian Airforce the couple travelled to many destinations as they raised their family. The most memorable posting was Lahr Germany where they met many lifelong friends. From Germany, Ken was posted to Base Borden where he planted roots and retired. Ken was a devoted scout and cub master and 30-year member of Angus Lions club utilizing his cooking skills at many yearly pancake breakfasts. He enjoyed camping, fishing and loved the Sunset Speedway Racetrack. Ken was well supported by Veteran's Affairs, Gove Park Day program and the staff at Roberta Place. His quiet, gentle smile will be missed by all. The family are eternally grateful for the compassionate care and support of Hospice Simcoe, the doctors and nurses at Roberta Place during this profoundly difficult time. Your kindness and dedication to Ken's peaceful end of life will never be forgotten. Thank you. Donations in Memory of Ken would be appreciated to Hospice Simcoe or the Living Wish Foundation
