Jerry Sullivan was born in Cornerbrook Newfoundland August 4, 1936 (83 years old), met his wife Joan in Toronto in the 50's and settled with his family in Barrie in 1972. Jerry passed on to be with his beloved wife Joan on November 7th and how happy he is.
Jerry was a Steamfitter/Plumber with local 46 for the past 51 years and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He leaves his family of two daughters, three grand children and a son in law; Lori, Mike, Matthew (Louise) and Will Bedford from Barrie and Maureen Sullivan and Danielle Chiasson from Collingwood. He is survived by his two brothers Ed and Ted Sullivan.
Jerry was a unique character, who made his own rules but he had a good heart, especially towards the underdog. He loved travelling with his wife Joan, golf, fishing and the great outdoors (especially with his family and friends; Ed, Danny, Doug). His favorite golf course was Settlers Ghost and fishing hole the Big East River. Not sure how well you needed to know him to appreciate his deep singing voice, Christmas without a Bing Crosby tune won't be the same. His favorite sports teams were the Boston Bruins and New York Patriots, he had some luck with them.
May he truly find peace and happiness in this next life with the ones he loves.
